Privacy Policy

MoneyMath is a calculator site. We do not collect personal information, do not run accounts, and do not sell anything to you. This page explains the small amount of data that is collected — almost all of it by third parties (Google AdSense, analytics) — and how to opt out.

1. Who we are

MoneyMath is an independent personal-finance calculator suite operated from Gibraltar. We have no employees, no customers, and no database of users. For data-protection purposes, the operator of this site is the controller. To contact us about privacy, see the bottom of this page.

2. What we collect ourselves

Effectively nothing. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. Numbers you type into a calculator are never sent to a server we control — they're processed locally by JavaScript and discarded when you close the tab. We don't store calculator inputs, results, or browsing history on our own servers.

We do not require accounts, do not have a contact form, and do not run a newsletter. If you email us, we'll have your email address until we reply and delete the thread.

3. What third parties collect

This site is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense) and uses standard web infrastructure (Cloudflare). Each of these third parties may collect data about your visit. We do not have independent access to their data — we only see aggregated reports.

3.1 Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Specifically:

  • Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
  • For a broader opt-out across many ad networks, visit aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.com (EU/UK).
  • Third-party vendors and ad networks served via Google AdSense may also place cookies. Google maintains a list at support.google.com.

3.2 Cloudflare

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, request time) as part of its security and CDN functions. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. We have no control over and no separate access to these logs.

3.3 Google Search and analytics

We submit a sitemap to Google Search Console and may use Google Analytics or a similar tool to measure aggregate visitor counts. These tools may set their own cookies. We do not link analytics data to any identifying information, because we do not have any.

4. Cookies on this site

The MoneyMath domain itself does not set any cookies. All cookies you may see in your browser tools come from the third parties listed above (primarily Google for ad serving). To inspect or delete them, use your browser's privacy settings — most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely without breaking the site.

5. Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR / Gibraltar DPA)

Where Google or other third parties process personal data through cookies set on this site, they generally rely on either your consent (where required by your jurisdiction) or their legitimate interest in measuring and serving advertising. We display a consent prompt to visitors from the EU, UK, Gibraltar, and other jurisdictions that require one, in line with the Google certified Consent Management Platform that AdSense requires publishers to use.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent for personalised advertising at any time (via the link in section 3.1).
  • Object to processing of your personal data by Google or other third parties — contact them directly.
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (the ICO in the UK, the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority in Gibraltar, your national DPA elsewhere in the EU).

Because we do not hold any personal data about you ourselves, we cannot action requests for access, rectification, or erasure of personal data — there is nothing on our side to access or erase. Direct those requests to the third parties listed above.

7. Children

MoneyMath is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some EU jurisdictions). We do not knowingly serve personalised advertising to children. Google's advertising policies prohibit personalised ads targeted at children.

8. International transfers

Cookies and request data may be processed by third-party providers (Google, Cloudflare) in countries outside your own, including the United States. These providers operate under their own contractual safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, EU-US Data Privacy Framework) and you should consult their privacy policies for details.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, when we change advertising providers or add new functionality. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent change. There is no notification list to subscribe to, by design — checking back is on you.
