Terms of Service
By using MoneyMath you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose: this is a free, educational calculator site. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. What MoneyMath is
MoneyMath is an independent suite of personal-finance calculators operated from Gibraltar. It is provided free of charge and is supported by display advertising. There is no account, no signup, and no paid tier.
2. Educational purpose, not financial advice
The calculators on this site produce mathematical estimates based on the inputs you provide and on published formulas, tax bands, or market conventions current at the time of writing. They are educational tools.
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. We are not licensed advisors, brokers, lenders, accountants, or solicitors, and we do not provide personalised recommendations. Real-world quotes, tax treatments, fees, and provider margin will produce different numbers from our estimates. Decisions about your money should be made in consultation with a qualified professional who knows your full circumstances.
3. No warranty
The site is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that results are accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Tax bands, contribution limits, mortgage formulas, currency rates, and inflation figures change over time and our pages may lag behind. We try to update them but make no commitment to do so.
Use of the site is at your own risk. If you rely on a MoneyMath result to make a financial decision, you accept that the result is an estimate and not a guarantee.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoneyMath and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the site — including financial losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made on the basis of calculator output. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or liability, in which case the exclusions apply to the extent permitted in your jurisdiction.
5. Third-party services and advertising
This site is supported by Google AdSense. Ads, ad networks, and consent management are operated by Google and its partners under their own terms. We have no control over advertised products and do not endorse them. See our privacy policy for what those third parties collect and how to opt out of personalised advertising.
6. Intellectual property
The MoneyMath name, layout, copy, and original calculator implementations are © MoneyMath. The underlying mathematical formulas are not — formulas for compound interest, amortisation, CAGR, drawdown rates, and the like are public knowledge and not owned by anyone.
You may link to MoneyMath pages and quote short passages with attribution. You may not scrape the site at scale, republish entire pages as your own, or wrap our calculators in another product without permission.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use the site to do anything illegal, don’t try to attack or overload it, and don’t use it in a way that would violate Google’s AdSense program policies (for example, by clicking your own ads or encouraging others to). We reserve the right to restrict access at our discretion.
8. Changes
We may change these terms when we add new tools, change advertising providers, or in response to legal developments. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Gibraltar. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction gives you stronger rights, those rights are not affected.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to the address on the Contact page.
